| Griffin & Howe. Serial Number 1784 - .270 built in 1946 using a Mauser Action and Engraved by the Master Josef Fugger. A 24" barrel with no barrel sights but a band sling stud, band front ramp with hood, receiver peep sight and a double lever G&H side mount. It has superb classic Fugger floral engraving, with 100% coverage on the floor plate with a Moose Game scene that you can almost walk into. The guard bow is engraved with two Grizzlies. The barrel cylinder, sling band, front ramp, receiver sight, grip cap and scope base are engraved as well. It has two panel bolt knob checkering. Classic period G&H stock with point pattern checkering, ebony forend tip and no cheekpiece. It has a very nice piece of European walnut with a 14-1/4" LOP over a leather covered pad. This 1946 piece is in excellent condition with a near perfect bore.
