Springer's Erben, Wien: A Classic Engraved Springer Sporting Bolt Rifle with a Mauser Action .270 with a 24" barrel, 1 standing rear sight, Ramp front, Set up with claw mounts on the receiver bridge and receiver ring; Set up with the original Kahles 4x60 scope with Springer's name engraved on the steel tube, Extended tang welded to the receiver tang with a tang safety that also functions with a bolt lock, Double set triggers, Point pattern checkering, Shadowline European style cheekpiece, 14 5/8" LOP over a hard buttplate. The entire bottom metal is very nicely engraved with a Stag on the floorplate, Butter knife bolt handle, A nice piece of wood with excellent color and contrast, The original blue on this gun remains at 95%, The wood remains at 98%, but I suspect the stock has been refinished at some point.
