Beretta 686 Onyx NRA Charleton Heston Celebrity Shoot Special Edition. Included with the shotgun is an autographed photo of Charleton Heston holding a Beretta 686 similar to the one being auctioned. The story I got when I purchased the gun is - ten of these guns were each fired by Mr. Heston, and then possibly by other "celebrities" at one of these shoots. Then the guns, along with an autographed photo of Mr. Heston, were auction off at the end of the day - with proceeds going to the NRA.
The barrels are 28" with factory screw chokes. The stock is 14-3/4” over a factory 5/8" pad. Drop of 1-3/8” to 2-3/8”. Weight is just under 6-1/4 lbs.
Gun is in 99+% condition with a couple of "ring marks" in surface poly finish inside the pistol grip.
