| These guns were made in yearly increments - 1988 – 20ga, 1989 - 28ga, 1990 - .410, and 1991 – 12ga. I believe most were sold at Ducks Unlimited dinners as fund raisers for the various chapters. The guns are marked Model S687DU, but are commonly referred to as 687EL DU because they are very similar to the standard 687EL except for the engraving pattern.
The 12ga has 28” barrels, while the three small bores have 26-3/8” barrels. All have factory chokes tubes. These guns came with a factory leather faced rubber recoil pad. The pad on the 12ga has some cracks in it – looks like it might be dry rotting. Otherwise these guns appear to be NEW.
The vast majority of these sets have been broken up, as the 28ga, and .410 bore are very desirable “small frame” guns. Since this set is still intact, I am going to offer them first as a package. If you are interested in one or more of the guns but not the entire set, please contact me, and if the set doesn’t sell I may break them up.
