Beretta 687EL VERY RARE Early 687EL 20ga with Scroll Engraving

| Beretta 687EL 20ga - Made in 1982. A VERY early 68x series gun. Barrels are 28", 2-3/4", choked M/F (.017 & .029). Stock - LOP 14-1/4" to the original butt plate, with drop of 1-3/8" to 2-1/4". Weight 6 lbs. When first introduced the 687EL had scroll engraving, as seen here, similar to the discontinued BL-6. They didn't sell many of these guns, as the 686 and 687EELL were the big sellers in the new line. I believe they stopped production on this gun as early as 1985, because of the five or six I've scene in 20 years, they all had fixed chokes. By the late 1980s, the pattern for the 687EL was changed to the game scene. This is a VERY hard to find gun with great wood! Condition: MINT - AS NEW. |
