Browning - Fabrique Nationale – Superposed, 12ga Superlight Made 1969 with 27-1/2” Solid Rib Barrels Choked IC/IM. Stock - LOP - 14-3/8" to the original Browning Butt Plate, Drop - 1-1/2 to 2-1/4", 6 lbs. 8 oz.
A VERY, VERY interesting gun with a great history. This gun was purchased new by its current owner - a U.S. Air Force officer in Germany in 1969. He proceeded directly to the shop of Kurt Jaeger to have the gun engraved with 100% coverage including game scenes. The gun is engraved to a similar level as a Diana Grade Browning. INCLUDED: The ORIGINAL box, FACTORY test targets, brochure, and receipt from Kurt Jaeger Waffenhaus - Mainz, Germany for $130 worth of engraving.
The gun is in 98+% condition as finished by Jaeger, with the original wood and original wood finish. The stock finish has the typical crazing that is a well known “feature” of Browning stocks of the period.
